Away Travel Info: Kingston Park Stadium

The stadium is a 4 mile taxi drive from Newcastle city centre, 2 minutes from the A1, 5 minutes from Newcastle International Airport and are situated close to both Kingston Park and Kenton Bank Foot Metro stations.

By Car

From A1:

Take the Airport exit. At the roundabout, take the exit signposted for Kingston Park.

Straight over 2 roundabouts. Under a metro bridge and turn right into Brunton Road.

After 400 metres the stadium is on your left.

Car Parking

On non-match days there is ample free parking at Kingston Park Stadium. On first-team match days however parking is limited and does come with a charge. This is available to purchase seasonally or on a match-by-match basis.

Local parking restrictions are in place on the surrounding streets, meaning that anyone parking on the main road or in the housing estates near to Kingston Park Stadium will receive a parking ticket.

By Metro

Kingston Park Stadium is served by Kingston Park and Bank Foot Metro stations, both of which are a five-minute walk away. Both stations are on the Airport branch of the Tyne and Wear Metro.

By Rail

For those travelling via the national train network and arriving at Newcastle Central Station, the Tyne and Wear Metro is the easiest way in which to get to the stadium. Central Station has its own Metro station.

Take trains headed for ‘Airport’ and alight at Kingston Park station, which is 10 stops away.

The journey takes approximately 20 minutes and Kingston Park Stadium is a further five-minute walk away from the station.

By Bus

From Eldon Square in the city centre, Stagecoach run the X47 bus route which can drop you off directly outside of Kingston Park stadium in just over 20 minutes.
