From M55:
Join M55 at Junction 32.
Travel to the end of the M55 following signs for Blackpool South / Lytham St.Annes.
On reaching the end of the M55 bear left towards Lytham St.Annes / Squires Gate Lane, South Shore.
You will come to a roundabout where you need to bear right and follow signs for Squires Gate / Blackpool Airport.
You will join Progress Way which leads onto Squires Gate Lane, after approximately 2 / 3 miles signs will appear for Lytham St.Annes as a LEFT TURN at a set of traffic lights.
Once you have made this turn there is approx 1.5 miles before another set of lights.
Continue directly through this set of traffic lights ( a cricket ground and Blackpool Airport runway strip will be on your right hand side.
Continue along this road – Queensway – through a 40mph zone.
After 3/4 miles you will reach Lytham St.Annes and another set of traffic lights, continue to go straight ahead and enter onto Heyhouses Lane.
Continue on Heyhouses Lane for just under a mile until you reach a second set of traffic lights with directions for Lytham Crematorium.
At these traffic lights turn right.
You are now on Blackpool Road.
Follow Blackpool Road over two mini roundabouts and past the Blossom Pub and a Church, both on your right hand side.
Look out for a long stone wall on your left and floodlights – the entrance to the Woodlands Memorial Ground is 0.4 miles away.
The entrance is set back slightly so we recommend approaching slowly and with care.
